It is not the aim of this website to cause anyone to lose their faith. This website deals with faith only when it conflicts with, misuses, or misrepresents science, denies or distorts what we know to be true in order to support a particular theology, or seeks to impose a religion or any particular theology on others.
God, as a supernatural entity, is beyond the realm of science, and faith is needed for religious belief. Faith is a personal matter, the details of which vary from person to person, and is not a matter to be imposed on (or forced away from) others.
There are many Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and people other other faiths, who accept evolutionary and old-Earth findings, and some organizations exist to help reconcile what we know about the world with scripture, for example the Christian organization BioLogos. Accepting common descent or an old Earth does not necessitate atheism and these things are not claimed as fact as part of a plot to distort or distract from the word of God - such claims involve unfounded conspiratorial thinking. In fact many claims made by creationists are not supported by (or add all sorts of claims to those of) the Bible.
It is important to investigate honestly so as not to deceive in the name God, however well intentioned. This website is here to help you do that.
