A note on tone

I have included in the descriptions how respectful each organization or person tends to be. This is because it is off-putting for many to use sources that are rude, snarky, or mocking, but I have suggested such resources at times because they can still contain good information. Please note, however, that the tone in which information is given does not affect the validity of the information.

As a rough guide:

• Respectful: There is a special attempt to be particularly respectful or understanding or 'reach out' in some way to creationists for dialogue.

• Neutral: The tone is not disrespectful but there is no special attempt to be respectful in the way described above.

• Uses humour: Employs a lot of humour in discussing an issue but not nastily or in such a way as to mock people, rather to show how some ideas are funny when absurdities are pointed out.

• Disrespectful: The tone may be harsh, mocking, snarky, or hateful, sometimes including towards people themselves rather than only the ideas or beliefs.
